Basic Medical
Terminology Module:
Includes textbook/workbooks: Barron’s Medical Dictionary
and Essential Atlas Of Anatomy,
Medical Terminology - The Basics ,
weekly testing and feedback)
Advanced Medical Transcription Module:
Includes practical application with online transcribing of actual
medical reports from multi-specialties, while simultaneously increasing
your medical terminology vocabulary.
Students will learn FTP and use a digital transcriber to complete
transcription of digital wave sound files available from our
storage bank.
A brief tutorial in Word and also Windows Explorer is also
offered as part of this course.
For those who have previously taken the Basic Medical Transcription
Course from any other tech school, you may qualify to take this
course separately. Appropriate confirmation of prior course is necessary
to qualify.
