COURSE COMMENTS

What Our Students Think...

I am a 47 year old female who wanted to pursue a home based office career as a medical transcriptionist.  I  researched many Medical Transcription Distance Learning Facilities available, and when I thoroughly  researched the course that Medwrite-Tech has to offer, and after a lengthy telephone conversation with the instructor, I made the decision to choose Medwrite-Tech for my challenging  distance learning course.  I have had previous experience with Distance Learning Courses,  and I knew how important it was to choose that right course.

The curriculum that Medwrite-Tech offers is a very thorough, exciting, challenging course and their curriculum allows you to learn at a very comfortable pace.  The instructor provides encouraging support throughout the course.

I have now completed the Medical Transcription Course and I have begun my new, challenging and  exciting career from home.  I would strongly recommend to any person wanting to choose a Medical Transcription Distance Learning Facility to choose Medwrite-Tech.   Not only do they provide a superior course outline,  Medwrite-Tech offers great support and THEY CARE !!!   Here I am, a year later ,doing what I started out to do a year ago!

D. L. Peterson, Alberta 2007

Ellen, I just wanted to say thanks for offering this course.  I really enjoyed taking this course. which has provided me with not only some cash flow to call my own again,  but also a purpose and a job that is my own other than being a mom.  As a stay at home mom I was looking for an opportunity to find some extra cash and a little something to call my own again.  I was nervous about taking this course as it seemed like a big commitment and I have two little boys who were still babies at the time to take care of.  Ellen provided great encouragement and support and allowed me to work at my own pace but also kept pushing me along.  She was always available for support and you do not feel like you are doing this on your own even though you are working from home.  I would recommend anyone who would like to work from home try this course.  It really prepares you for your medical transcription job and gives you a great  knowledge-base to build upon.    I just wanted to say thank you.  It really has meant a lot to me and has changed my perspective and made it a whole lot easier to stay at home.

D. Fletcher, Ontario 2006

Prior to enrolling in the course I had accumulated many years of clerical experience, though none in the field of medicine.  I was hesitant about making a commitment to studying and testing having been out of school for over 30 years, but I am glad to have thrown caution to the wind as I have found the course material to be interesting and stimulating.  Although it has certainly been a challenge, it is not anything beyond my capabilities.  Between the knowledge I have gained to date, and the opportunity to do some actual on-line work, my confidence is every growing and I am very anxious for course completion and being employable.  The added bonus is being able to complete the course and ultimately work from the comfort of my home.

 D. Kopier, Kelowna, BC Canada  2006

I couldn't praise the course enough. It was very easy to transition from the course to actual work because of the comprehensive terminology and training the course offers. Also, the support and guidance from the editors was a huge help. It must be one of the best courses available simply because I feel completely competent and fully trained in the field of medical transcription and am confident in typing any report given to me.

Kristy K., Alberta Canada 2005

The Medwrite-Tech Inc. course was excellent!  I knew nothing about medical terminology before I started but was surprised at how well I did in the Basic Course.  The transition from Basic Terminology to the Advanced Transcription was very easy and even though my first modules were a lot to learn, I got the hang of it quickly and by the last module I felt confident in my skills.  I also can’t tell you how nice it was to learn from home!
